Bettina von Waldthausen (sometimes Bettina Fricke or just Bettina), was a German producer, photographer, cover designer and breathing therapist, born 1942 and once married to Florian Fricke, with whom she had a daughter (who once asked Florian to make some techno/trance music, hence the 1995 City Raga...).

She worked as still photographer on, among others, Fricke's friend Werner Herzog's first ever feature film, Lebenszeichen ('Signs of Life' 1968, in which Fricke has a small part as Pianist) as still photographer on the Greek island of Kos where the movie was shot. She also shot the photos for several of Fricke's albums with Popol Vuh, and co-produced the 2nd and 3rd albums. She passed away in Munich Jan. 22, 2016, where she had her own breathing practice since 1982.
