Bassist originally from Stone, Staffordshire but based in Llantwit Major, Wales born 17th February 1954. Has performed in Shakin' Stevens And The Sunsets.

Passed away in january 2023 after a long battle with lung cancer.

Mal got a spanish guitar at 11 and played it as a four string until he could afford a bass. At 13 Mal's dad got him a Selmer Treble and Bass 50 ( as used by Luke today) along with a battered 4x12 cab and he was hooked! Mal turned pro at 17 and toured the UK and europe with names including Wales own Elvis, Shakin Stevens.
Mal has also enjoyed plenty of Film & TV parts in stuff like The Bill, Eastenders, The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe, The Lifeboat & worked as an extra for many years in S4C'S welsh language soap opera 'POBOL Y CWM'. Mal grew up musically listening to Lightnin' Hopkins, Lee Hooker, Mayal & Cream.
