Swedish cellist, born August 8, 1953.

He emigrated from the Soviet Union in 1975, where he had studied at the Moscow Conservatory. He was employed as a meeting leader at the Royal Chapel in Copenhagen. In 1976 he became involved with the Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. He was also affiliated with the Nordic Conservatory of Music. Since 1989 he has been a solo cellist in the Royal Court Orchestra.

He is the father of Ida Falk Winland.
