Canadian record executive. Worked for the Canadian branch of [l641737] in the late 60s. In 1971 he founded Avenue Of America Recording Limited and was General Manager. After Avenue of America shuttered he founded Inter Global Music in 1974.

Salter was involved in a record pirating ring in the early 80s while head of International Traders, Inc. A warrant was issued for his arrest and he was tracked down in the Philippines by Interpol.
