Guido Nielsen was born in Amsterdam and studied piano with Polo de Haas, graduating from the Utrechts Conservatorium. An adept violinist as well as pianist, he has recorded many solo albums as well performed with the legendary Beau Hunks orchestra. His astounding precision and ebullient, lively bounce lend themselves perfectly to the music of the ragtime and novelty eras. He teaches Biology and Mathematics in Amsterdam, Holland.
