One of the UK’s top groove drummers, he has worked in a wide array of genres and styles, from Tina Turner, Simply Red, Oleta Adams, Joan Armatrading, Keziah Jones, Culture Club to reggae artists Linton Kwesi Johnson, Horace Andy, Dennis Bovell, I-Roy, Earl Sixteen etc. Signed to Virgin with his act Well Red, Richie’s work led him to collaborate with George Clinton and the P-Funk crew. As Drumhead and now Dubversive, Richie has produced Mica Paris and remixed tracks for acts including Dreadzone, Jamiroquai and Spacemonkeyz vs. Gorillaz project.
