In January 1981, she married Γιάννης Μαρκόπουλος; later the same year, she gave birth to their daughter, Eleni Markopoulou. Sister of Χριστιάνα and aunt of her son, Γιώργος Σταμάτης. Niece of Τάκης Λαβίδας & Λούση Καραγεωργίου and cousin of their daughter Ελένη Λαβίδα/Ελένη Βιτάλη.
