After The Hollywood Brats split up in 1974 a Norwegian wing of the label Mercury agreed to release their debut LP in 1975. Unsure on how to market a band that no longer existed Andrew Matheson asked the label to the release the record under the name Andrew Matheson & The Brats. The group never performed under this name.
