On the afternoon of Wednesday, February 2, 1944, while on leave from military duty, Frank called in Miklavic, Naglitch and Hokavar to do a marathon recording session for his [l223309] label. He recorded thirty-two songs on sixteen 78 RPM discs at Carnegie Hall Studios of the [l620848]. The recordings were produced by Heinie Martin Antoncic and studio owner Fred Wolf.
