Canadian (Québec) country western singer-songwriter and composer born February 1, 1925, and died April 13, 1999 (Drummondville). He first found success in 1947 with his songs La Chaine De Nos Cœurs and Souvenir De Mon Enfance and frequently collaborated with his wife Noëlla Therrien, his daughter Renée Martel, and fellow Québécois country singer Paul Brunelle.
