Mystery is a hard rock and heavy/progressive metal band from Berlin, Berlin, Germany (former West-Berlin, BRD, West-Germany), that was formed in 1988. The band was actually a onetime project by four German musicians, that was promoted as an American band with a German singer. The musicians, who played in Mystery were really a mystery for a long time.
