This is not The Velvet Underground.

This was a five-piece band from Newcastle, Australia, which formed in 1967. The original lineup was Steve Phillipson (vocals), Russell Bayne (guitar), Mark Priest (keys/bass), Herman Kovacivic (Kovac) (drums), and David Schofield (bass). When Russell left in 1968, he was replaced by Les Hall.
