Began music industry career as director of national publicity for Minneapolis, Minnesota, independent record label Waterhouse Records in 1979; account executive at Wayne Rosso Associates; named west coast director of publicity for A&M Records in 1982, national publicity director for A&M in 1985; executive director of publicity for A&M Records in 1987; joined VH-1 in 1994 overseeing Talent Relations; named executive VP/Talent & Music Programming at VH-1 in 1999.
