Best known for his work as a trumpet player and composer/producer with Ute and Black Jesus Experience, a fascination with the world of sound has led to work in film and television, with visual artists, choreographers and in digital media. Ian has performed and recorded with artists including Mulatu Astatke, Irmin Schmidt (Can), Kumo, Guru, Ape, Corker Conboy, No-Man, Tim Bowness, Musiikki-Oy, Blow, Night Z, Ramjac, DJ Blame, West Park, DC2/4 and solo as TPT.
