Swedish alternative rock band garage punk band formed in the fall of 1999. The group was originally called Saturnine, but the band name was changed when it was discovered that an American band with the same name existed.
In 2004, Saturnine's song Ambivalent Song was used in the film Hip hip hora! and was also included on the soundtrack. It was also included in the film score for Miss Sweden. In 2005, the group appeared, with the previously unreleased song Cut Loose, on the compilation album För dom vi skickar tillbaks.
Sometime after that, the band split up. After the breakup, guitarist Canan Rosén continued in the band Tiger Bell. In 2017, Rosén led the project Riot grrrl sessions. Through crowdfunding, the project raised 70,000 kronor to record an album with music composed, performed, and produced by female musicians from various bands. On February 3, 2018, the first song, Terror Girls, was released, and on February 23, the album The First Session was released.
