Swedish prominent singer, born on October 5, 1904, in Selånger, Medelpad, Sweden, died February 19, 1996, in Vancouver, Canada.
She had a prolific recording career, producing around 150 recordings between 1932 and 1943. She was also involved in recording children's tales for the Karusell brand in the late 1950s.
Her work extended to Germany, where she recorded for labels like Imperial and Polydor. In addition to her singing career, she was a pioneer in the Swedish recording industry, co-founding the recording studio Din egen röst at Gröna Lund, allowing amateurs to make recordings. She also worked as a singing teacher and contributed her voice to several Swedish films by dubbing songs for actresses.
