Belgian photographer born in Poperinge, 1965. He first received a training in lay-out at Higro (Hoger Instituut voor Grafische Opleiding) in Ghent, followed by a photography course at Sint-Lucas in Ghent. In 1988 he started to work as designer for a printing business, but he started taking more and more pictures. After having worked in the publicity sector for 5 years, he showed his hobby work (black-and-white photographs of rock concerts) to the newspaper ’De Morgen’. It was agreed to continue the collaboration. Nowadays he works as freelancer for various national and international newspapers and magazines. Thanks to his work in the papers, his photographs also receive recognition from record companies and international magazines.
He regularly gets assignments for national and international labels.
