Dutch songwriter & arranger. Born on June 3, 1949, in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. He wrote songs, arranged for and co-operated with Herman van Veen, Ramses Shaffy, Liesbeth List, Loeki Knol, Lenny Kuhr, etc. He debuted for TV with the titlesong for the teenage show Waauw in 1966, released by Dutch pop band The Jay-Jays in october 1966. In 1967 he wrote the soundtrack for the Dutch movie Verloedering Van De Swieps (featuring Ramses Shaffy), which included the song Zuinig Met Haar Zinnen. Perhaps most famous for arranging Shaffy's Wij Zullen Doorgaan, he later scored a big hit as the songsmith of Max Werner's Rain In May. From the early 1980's onward he also was active on the international market as a songwriter, which wasn't all that usual in Holland yet.
