Born in Palermo, Italy, in 1986, he soon showed interest in electronic music: his early influences include artists like Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim. He was also deeply influenced by Italian dream-progressive artists such as Robert Miles and Datura; later he discovered techno and trance music.

He started producing his first tracks at the age of 14. In 2004 he released his first single Angelica, which soon became an European club hit.
