Gerald Abraham





Gerald Abraham was a well-known musicologist and authority on Russian music. He was for twelve years on the staff of the B.B.C., a post he left to become first Professor of Music at Liverpool University. He was president of the Royal Music Association from 1969 to 1974. Born in 1904 in Newport, Isle of Wight, died 1988.
