Give Up primarily was a live band consisting of David Hammer (aka Shizuo), Annika Trost and Razi Barakat. Although the releases are credited to the whole band almost all of the tracks were produced by Shizuo alone.

The band broke up soon after the 1997 DHR US Tour.
