Eugene S. Robinson is an American musician, author, journalist, editor, singer, MMA fighter and fight sports expert. He has studied boxing, Kenpo karate, Muay Thai (mixed martial arts), wrestling, and Brazilian jiu jitsu, and has published about fighting, e.g. in his book Fight (2007). In music he has started out in punk & hardcore and has evolved into experimental and noise rock, most visibly as the front man for Oxbow (vocals, lyrics). He currently lives in the San Francisco area but has grown up in Jamaica, Queens, New York. In October 2023 his memoir was published titled A Walk Across Dirty Water And Straight Into Murderer’s Row.
