Short lived band assembled by Peter Blegvad for some concert in the US in 1980, with Bill Laswell, Anton Fier, Michael Zentner, Carla Bley and Lisa Herman. This band proved to be a precusor of The Golden Palominos. There are no known recordings of this band (apart from some bootlegs live recording). However, a few years after its first incarnation, The Big Guns were resurrected by Peter Blegvad as the name of an equally short-lived trio, who recorded a track for the [l500988] series.
