Spanish music maker (b. Albacete, 1973) lives and works in Madrid specializing in composition for film, television, digital platforms, and advertising.
- Since 1996 he has been the keyboardist of Mercromina, a renowned independent band that has been an influence on many of the current bands on the national scene. Mercromina has released five LPs, two EPs, and a double compilation album on Subterfuge Records.
- In 2002 he started his professional activity in the audiovisual sector with the composition of the music for the comedy sketch show ‘La Hora Chanante’, produced by Paramount Comedy.
- In 2011 he opened [l2177467], a recording studio in the center of Madrid, where he combines the production and composition of music for film and television with the recording of groups and soloists, notably in the production of the eponymous album by Melange in 2016 and Talego Quini by
Parquesvr in 2019.
- Between 2012 and 2014 he formed the experimental music duo
Cachalote with
Mario Zamora. They released three self-produced albums and the cassette Cachadrone on the experimental music label Verlag System. Following this project, a new way of understanding music was added to his compositional modus operandi, crystallizing in the audiovisual work ‘NEGRO y Luz’ by Álvaro Perdices, which was shown at the Prado Museum and the London National Gallery in 2019.
