Bo Heart is a pianist, singer, songwriter and producer. He plays with Klaus Lage and Vicky Leandros.
Born in Tübingen, his family emigrated to Canada when Heart was 16 years old. He formed his first band in 1978. In 1979 he played piano for the Canadian country singer Ian Tyson and in 1982 he scored music for Cheech & Chong in Los Angeles. In 1985 he came to Hamburg with his band “Studio Venice”. After a record deal and their first single “Dont talk anymore”, “Studio Venice” split up and Bo Heart began his solo career. His first solo album “Invitation” was released in 1987, produced by drumming legend Curt Cress. Cress included him in his “Curt Cress Clan”. The rehearsals for the first clan tour took place in Yamaha's piano test hall in Rellingen. Since then, Bo Heart has been closely associated with Yamaha as a demonstrator, consultant and programmer of content, such as styles for the automatic accompaniment system or songs for the Yamaha download store.
Bo has been playing with Klaus Lage since 1991 and with Vicky Leandros since 2004. He was a keyboarder with Edo Zanki, Uwe Ochsenknecht and until 2002 a member of the project “4 your Soul” with Edo Zanki, Xavier Naidoo, Cae Gauntt, Florian Sitzmann and Tommy Baldu.
