On December 10, 2010, Jay Smith won the Swedish Idol series title, beating Minnah Karlsson in the final at [l371707], an arena which original name was [l340822] and has later been renamed to 'Avicii Arena' on May 19, 2021.

So far, Jay Smith has released three albums and several singles in his own name but he also plays with the band Von Benzo which has released two CDs, one in 2009 and one in 2011.
