UK photographer, particularly of British jazz scene in 1950s but also motor racing. Went into TV after this as a lighting director and was Yorkshire-based for much of his life. Died 23 December 2009, aged 83.

Many of his archive photographs have been posthumously published in collections and some are house in the National Portrait Gallery's permanent archive collection.
