Markus Kienzl is a musician, producer, and film composer, best known as co-founder of the Austrian band Sofa Surfers. In 1999, he released his solo-debut EP TILT on Klein Records. His first full length album Product in 2005 featured the single Dundy Lion feat Paul St. Hilaire, later licensed for the Rockstar Game Midnight-Club LA. From 2006 on, Kienzl got more into producing music for films and series. In 2009, he produced Tania Saedi's Exhale and released his second solo album Density. He was nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in 2010 and for a Grammy in 2015. He's a member of the Academy of Austrian Films and has been nominated for the Austrian Film Prize twice.
