Belgian photographer (24 December 1944 - 19 October 2019). He started as a sports photographer for Het Nieuwsblad but gained faim with his analogue concert photos and artists portraits of jazz musicians, which earned him the nickname The Jazzman. He received the SABAM Jazz Award and Jazz Journalists Association's Excellence in Photography Award. He was house photographer for Jazz Middelheim and Gent Jazz Festival and closely involved with the magazine Jazzmozaïek.
