American free jazz multi-instrumentalist (saxophones, clarinet, bassoon, didgeridoo) and instrument maker, born September 13, 1946 in Kingston, Jamaica.
Ewart moved to Chicago in 1963 and became a key member of the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM).
