Miles Davis (beginning with [m5460]) until the early 1980s, including editing that almost amounted to creating compositions after the recordings. He also supervised sessions led by
Dave Brubeck (including [m34081]) and signed
Charles Mingus. He left Columbia in 1975 to found Teo Productions.
