Drumming since his birth in 1976 and DJing since he got KMD's Peachfuzz in 1990, ElekTro4 took his lifelong love for music a step further when he started producing in the late 90s. ET4's full-length debut Keystroke One on Bully Records had a warm reception from bedroom DJs to club DJs worldwide. His music can also be heard in various skate and snow videos as well as television shows like The L Word and This American Life. In addition to his solo ventures he has worked with DJ Signify, Billy Martin, Celph Titled, the1shanti, DJ Killa-Jewel, and Prolific, to name a few.

Besides a slew of recent remix work, ElekTro4 released Afi's Song on Organik Recordings in 2010. Beautifully pressed on white vinyl with hand printed covers, this release was one of Organik's fastest selling records to date.

In fall 2016 Headrums Records released ElekTro4's second album titled Archaeometry.

December 2024 brought the cassette release The Music Maker on Potions Music.

A resident of New York City, he also works in visual design and consulting when not roaming around the city in search of records and dogs.
