Los Boppers

The group formed in 1960 in High Bridge 4 of 50 Alvarado, today the Museum of San Carlos. The instruments were bought thanks to the financial support of the Mother of Ricardo de la Garza Ramirez, original lead singer. They rehearsed in Col. Roma (home of Richard) and Col. Condesa (house of German Gonzalez Fajardo, piano, trumpet and director) on the CD. Of Mexico. Its first members were German, Ricardo, Jorge Lopez Angeles (bass) and Mario Jacobo Legorreta (lead guitarist) having met in high school where they studied four. Later Eduardo Sanchez Cardenas (initial drums), Victor Osorio Zamora (guitar accompaniment), Francisco Canedo (vocals), Julio Cesar de la Huerta (last fife), Eduardo Angulo Bridge (last drummer) and Jorge Baron (last vocals) joined .

By the end of 1960 recorded their first album in the small but visionary then label Discos Coro album with 12 pieces that despite the limited technology available at that time has a stereo pressed edition in 1962 and with a remarkable sound for its time . It is said that this album was prepared, rehearsed and recorded in just nine hours, which is possible because at that time it was the custom of the record companies when recording to integrated youth groups.

His album Discos Coro brand is very interesting, but practically lacked promotion because in 1960 had just emerged that label and rock and roll had never been his specialty, but he recorded very valuable material; the disk has several reprints during the 60s.

In 1961 joining the catalog of the major company Peerless Discs, recorded two LPs, plus some simple, where despite not having great promotion achieved its greatest success (or soft rock ballad), and today an unforgettable classic Blue Hill, original success of Fats Domino (Blueberry Hill), obtaining some success with its recordings to Lonesome Train, Lover dreamer 'original success of Bobby Darin and Poor Dopey original Ricky Nelson and A sport coat (who had already recorded discs Chorus).

The Boppers acted in various places like the National Auditorium (next to the famous Canadian singer Paul Anka), in the Iris Theater, Hall Soto Hotel Saxon, in the nightclub El Patio. The Boppers was the first Mexican rock group that emerged from artistic tour abroad. In 1961 they traveled to Central America that year clearly failing school for being long-absent from their classes. They debuted on television in the Bon Soir Theatre program, being sponsored by Manuel Loco Valdes and Ana Luisa Peluffo; Paco also acted Malgesto and Ninon Sevilla on that TV show. They made a movie accompanying Cesar Costa, Angélica María and Libertad Lamarque entitled Heaven and Earth.
Although they were not heavily promoted by their record labels they had one of the best shows of the time. Their gigs, as well the concerts of these groups were called, were spectacular. The little Elvis as well they said Ricardo de la Garza, one of the two vocalists of the group, danced and moved dramatically to the public statements of paroxysm, while Paco Cañedo, the other singer, praised the romance with her melodious voice
