Born in New York City and then living in Los Angeles, Alyson’s interest in singing and dancing began at an early age when she started performing in community theater at eight years old. She discovered a songwriting ability when she was a teenager and met up with songwriter/producer
Daveed in Los Angeles with whom Alyson co-wrote her debut album Take A Good Look. Alyson self-released the album in 2005 on her own label PM Media and it resulted in five Top 10 hit singles on the Billboard Dance Chart.
In 2008, Alyson released her second album titled Hey You! that she co-wrote with songwriter/producer
Jeremy Yeremian known for his work with Pink, Ricky Martin, Natalie Imbruglia and many more. Alyson’s 2nd album produced six Top 5 singles on national U.S. radio charts including the Hot 100 Radio Chart in New Music Weekly Magazine.
One of the singles from her 2nd album Hey You!, titled Here With Me, also hit #4 on the Billboard Dance Chart and won First Place in Billboard Magazine’s 2008 Billboard World Songwriting Contest. Thanks to all the radio and chart success of Alyson’s album Hey You!, Alyson also won the award for Top 40 Breakthrough Artist at the 2008 New Music Awards in Hollywood.
2009 was Alyson’s biggest year yet -- she won the award for Best Female Mainstream Artist at the 2009 Independent Music Network Awards and received 3 nominations for the 2009 New Music Awards for Top 40 Female Artist, Top 40 Breakthrough Artist and Top 40 Single (for her song Sticky Sticky).
Alyson’s music videos have also garnered several awards -- her video Take A Good Look won Best Music Video at the 2006 California Independent Film Festival, and her video Hey You won Best Short Film - Musical at the 2009 International Family Film Festival in Hollywood. Hey You was also an Official Selection of the 2009 Burbank International Film Festival in Burbank.
