Chris Stone (born 1935, San Francisco, California, USA – died September 10, 2016, aged 81) was an American music industry businessman, producer and writer, and the co-founder with Gary Kellgren of the [l264105] recording studios of which he sold his remaining share in 1989. He was the founder and CEO of World Studio Group, Inc. He co-founded the Society of Professional Audio Recording Services (SPARS), and he co-founded the Music Producers Guild of the Americas (MPGA), serving as executive director.
