English rock band founded in 1961 in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England. Initially, Argent was the vocalist, with Blunstone on rhythm guitar. However, by the end of their first rehearsal together, Argent added keyboards to his role, and Blunstone switched to lead vocals. The band split in December 1967, but were reformed in 2004.
Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019.
