Canadian bassist born May 5, 1955, in St-Éloi, Québec. He is almost considered as the best bass player of those last decades. Founder of the label [l169387].
In the 80’s, he formed the band UZEB with Michel Cusson and Paul Brochu. ’’UZEB’’ was a famous jazz fusion trio which was particularly involved in using synthesizers and a lot of digitally controlled musical instruments. Then, in the 90’s he formed Alain Caron Le Band, a quite larger band, including the finest jazz fusion musicians from Canada or France. He also performed with famous drummer Dennis Chambers, guitarist Jean-Marie Ecay, and violinist Didier Lockwood.
