UK based writer, editor and band manager. Benney co-founded the dance music and club culture magazine, Jockey Slut, in the 1990s with John Burgess. He also helped managed the group FC Kahuna. He is currently managing director of Dummy, a website 'dedicated to discovering and supporting new music from around the globe'.
