Mike Mann opened his studio in 1966 in London’s West-end, after joining the commercial art industry at 15. His commissions included work for major advertising agencies and his creative skills also adorned many album sleeves. Primarily using chemical dyes, bleaches and transparency-compositing, Mann’s reputation and skillful retouching work predated the advent of computer graphics.
