Stan is best known as the guitarist in 80’s pop group The Housemartins. One of the original two members of the band, alongside Paul Heaton, Stan performed and recorded with the band, enjoying considerable chart success, until they split in 1987. He went on to produce two albums for The Farm.
Stan is now an accomplished composer / performer of TV music. He owns his own video production company, making programmes for the BBC and ITV.
