He is credited for giving Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons their big break that ultimately led to the introduction to producer Eddie Kramer. Eddie produced the 5 track demo that ultimately led to the first Kiss album and ultimately stardom on a celestial scale! But before all the fame and fortune, Ron had produced Paul and Gene's pre-KISS band Wicked Lester and, interestingly enough, Peter Criss's pre-KISS band Chelsea as well. Often misspelled Ron Johnson.
