Born 18 July 1942 in Zürich, Switzerland, Toni Vescoli is one of the first Swiss rock ’n’ roll-musicians. In 1962, he founded the band Les Sauterelles, which had 2 main successes: Hongkong in 1965 and Heavenly Club in 1968. After the band had split up in 1970, Vescoli started his solo career with rock- and country-music, normally interpreted by Vescoli in Swiss German.
