German gothic metal band formed by guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist Lothar “Lotte” Forst, just after he left his previous group, Crematory. Forst wrote all the music, co-wrote the lyrics and co-produced the entire album, featuring a handful of talented musicians to help him out with his project: Hans Mappes (bass), Stefan Hertrich (vocalist from Darkseed, Betray My Secrets, SpiRitual and Shiva In Exile) and Thomas (drums). Unfortunately, Sculpture disbanded after playing a few shows with The Gathering (from Netherlands) in 1999.
