Phil Chen was a bassist who was one of England's most utilized session musicians during the 1970s and 1980s, having played with Rod Stewart, Jeff Beck, and Brian May, among many others. From 2004–2013 he played in the band Manzarek-Krieger, with former Doors members Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger.
