Having attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School in his youth, latterly he is better known as a leading actor under his full name, Ashley Walters, with roles starring in several London-based films including Bullet Boy (2004), Sugarhouse (2007), and most recently as leading character in the long-running Channel 4 then Netflix international TV series Top Boy (2011-2023).
