American drummer, born 2 March 1954. Son of television entertainer Soupy Sales, he formed a dynamic rhythm section on drums with bassist brother Tony. Sales has played with Todd Rundgren, Iggy Pop and Tin Machine among others. Now based in Austin, Texas, he put together the blues rock band The Hunt Sales Memorial in 2019 with musicians from Memphis and Austin.
