Joe Henson (born 18 September 1973) is an English bassist, composer, and producer. He began collaborating with Alexis Smith in 2005 when they co-produced an album for Joe’s band, Seventhsun. After realising they had a similar approach to life and wildly divergent musical tastes, they formed a creative partnership - The Flight - that quickly encompassed songwriting, production and composition. The duo have worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry including Lana Del Rey, David Bowie, Rufus Wainwright, and Elbow. Having composed for brands such as Adidas and BMW, they have also created major soundtracks for video games including Assassin’s Creed and Alien: Isolation.

Son of Nicky Henson and Una Stubbs, and brother of Christian Henson.
