Canadian folk & country musician, singer, songwriter, bass & guitar player, who also performs & records as Mighty Lopez.

Originally from Halifax, where he started in music as a garage rock bass player before discovering guitar and jug bands. Moving to Vancouver, he co-founded the Hard Rock Miners before moving to Toronto and co-founding Jughead. He now lives in Huntsville, recording and performing as Mighty Lopez and also playing bass for other artists. Brother of jazz trumpeter Brigham Phillips.
