Anticappella was a project steered by producer
Gianfranco Bortolotti.
Their first and one of the most well-known tracks is 2√231, an instrumental, which became a club hit in 1991. The same year Everyday was released and did well in the southern Europe club scene.
In 1993 the songs I Wanna Love You and Movin’ To The Beat were released. They both did quite well, especially outside of Europe. Next year saw the release of Anticappella’s biggest hit, Move Your Body, featuring MC Fixx It, a rapper from Holland who had worked with
Twenty 4 Seven. It charted in many European countries. In 1995 Express Your Freedom got a limited single release and charted in the dance charts in the UK, Scandinavia and Italy.
In 1996, new remixes of 2√231 and Move Your Body were released, but only in the UK. 2√231 became a club hit again in the UK. In the same year, I Need To Tell Everybody was released. In 1998, Get Faster is released, followed by the tracks Bring Me Down, I Want Your Love and I Need A Hero.
