American flautist, composer and pioneer in the developement of electronic music, born 30-January-1940 in Batavia, New York, died 28-October-2021 in Basel, Switzerland. After his collaborations with Karlheinz Stockhausen and the early Can in the 1960s he co-founded the [l328202] in 1970 together with Johannes G. Fritsch and Rolf Gehlhaar. He later relocated to Basel where he until 1984 was head of the [l304919].
